2026 Shows

As usual ADBKA attended Glendale Children’s Countryside Day, Warkworth Show and Glendale Show during the summer of 2026.

All shows were very busy with a lot of visitors coming to our tables to see live bees, taste the apiary honey and then at Warkworth and Glendale Show we were also able to sell honey from the apiary.

Tasting of the apiary honey continues to be very popular with over 1,000 tasting spoons being used at the Children’s Country side Day.

We are very grateful to those members who helped out on the days.

At Glendale, we were all set up at 8.30am waiting for the early visitors.

And, pleasingly our members won all three prizes at the Glendale Show.

2025 Shows

During 2025 ADBKA attended the Glendale Children’s Countryside Day in June and then in August we attended The Warkworth Village Show and also the Glendale Show.

The Glendale Children’s Countryside Day is an annual event, held at Wooler in Northumberland.  The whole event is dedicated to children and typically attracts more than 1,600 children, aged between five and eleven, from more than 40 schools.

ADBKA were very lucky in that members won prizes at both the Warkworth Village Show and also the Glendale Show. Congratulations to the winners!
